Happy Easter everyone!  I thought I would write today’s post seeing that Joel has been SUPER HUSBAND these last few days while I’ve been suffering through nose surgery recovery.  Seriously, this ranks right up there with hip surgery.  The pain has been intense and never-ending.  I so wish narcotics agreed with my body.  As it is, the world is blurry while I type.  Enough of my whining though.  I do hope you all had a good Easter.

We celebrated the day with the story of Easter – courtesy of Dexter’s god mother Monica (seeing that we didn’t make it to church – pain factor +8).  We explored our Easter baskets and started finding eggs.  As of 8pm, not all of the eggs have been located by the boys.  Joel is just that good.  In fact, the egg hunt has lasted all day and has spanned 1.5 miles (it continued on at Grandma’s house).  Annie even tried her hand at hunting eggs (this was hours after the boys had started – Joel told her there were 7 left in the dining room, and it took her 20 minutes to find them all).  The boys have definitely filled their bellies with chocolate and Dexter couldn’t even be bothered pealing the foil off.  He ate that too.  (just a small bite though).

Once again, my mom outdid herself with an Easter spread.  It was fantastic!!!!  My cousin Ann, her fiance Robert, their daughter Keira, and my Uncle Dick, rounded out the guest list.  I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.  Enjoy!
