    Waiting…..

    Dec 30, 2011 in Uncategorized

Before I get to catching up on blog posts for you, let me tell you what I’m doing right now.  I’m waiting for Joel to get out of surgery.   You see, these are the things that need to happen for me to have any down time in order to write a post.  I know it’s been far too long.  Thus, I’m using the next 1.5 hours to write as much as I can and provide a glimpse into our life over the holidays.

As for Joel, I’m sure he’ll be fine.  All his nurses are cute.  He’s getting good drugs and unlike me, his body tolerates them quite well.  After this surgery to fix his arm and brief recovery, there will be no more excuses as to why we can write a post a week.  That is my goal.  In fact, the doctor told him that he could type today.  I’ll consider post writing physical therapy for Joel.  That said, I need to get on with business before my time is up.

I finished all the blogs posts – Halloween through Christmas.  Now all I need to do is figure out how to get them to the web.

By the way, Joel’s surgery went fine.  The doctor said he’s built like a machine.  He is currently in bed, sleeping off the narcotics.
