    Second breakfast

    Friday, December 11th, 2009 @ 3:16 pm | Uncategorized

Feeding is still the most energy-intensive part of raising these little guys.  Sometimes they’re off, and refuse to cooperate.  Sometimes they’re hungry, and eat with a healthy appetite.  Sometimes they’re in a good mood, but not hungry, and so they’re manic and playful.  Those are some of the hardest feeds, because they’re so absurdly cute, but entirely uncooperative.  We’re supposed to be stern, but it’s an overwhelming struggle not to laugh and smile.  So you tell me, how stern could you be feeding these boys?

Yeah they pulled the “bash our heads against the back of the highchair repeatedly, and laugh at ourselves” game with me a few times. Thankfully for me I didn’t find it as hilarious as they did, since it looked sorta disturbing and possibly like it hurt….wasn’t hard to keep a straight face for that one. Crazy kids!

What do you mean??? They never do that for us. You’re telling us you were bashing their heads into their high chairs???

Oh, wait. Nevermind. I’m scared they’ll get a concussion with every feed.
