Something’s just not quite right

Lunchtime. I make the boys a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and cut up fresh pear. They down the pear, and eat *some* of the PB&J. Then I get a tub of pureed peas. They down the tub, while refusing any more PB&J.
“Please, Daddy – more Puree’d peas – please don’t make us eat any more of this peanut butter and jelly sandwich…”
Seriously, what’s wrong with these kids? Where did we go wrong?

You haven’t done anything wrong. These boys
are the luckiest children we know. They
just have good taste. I’ll take anything
but not a BP&J.
Your web site is the hi point of my day.

Maybe vegemite sandwiches!

I agree with Sharon. They are lucky and do have good taste. So you should try peanut butter and mayonnaise on their bread. That will do the trick, I am certain. It is an old family favorite for some of us.

Suggestions from Oz – peanut butter and honey,
and your au pair favourite vegemite and avocado

I agree peanut butter and jelly is not right, mind you neither is vegemite. Try marmalade or strawberry jam. Susan
