Maybe not "words", but maybe "use your word"... But it's a useful word, right?

Apparently I annoyed a nurse back in the NICU days - when Dexter was crying I told him to "use his words," and the nurse apparently didn't realize that I wasn't expecting a response, but was just talking to Dexter. What, 8 week old babies can't use words? Really? Oh well...

It's a wonderful time when you can begin saying, "Use your words" and they CAN!
Hopefully, they will be able to use them poetically as you two do in your writings. I can always visualize just what's been going on when I read your posts.
No matter what your English grades were in College, you both earn A+ in "writing" when you write about your sons. Your feelings and love are right here................won't this be a wonderful thing for them to treasure some day? (Like when they're looking down at you and demanding the car keys?) Hand them the printouts so they can see you REALLY do love them even though they are teenagers. :-)
